This basically means that whenever a Black Tusk enemy drops a gear piece, it will be for either True Patriot or Ongoing Directive.

Ongoing Directive is the other gear set aside from True Patriot that can drop from Elite Black Tusk enemies at World Tier 5. Six pieces equipped – Every time you kill an enemy, one of your holstered weapons receives status-effect ammo (shock, explosive, or incendiary).Five pieces equipped – Automatically collect all nearby armor kits, grenades, and ammo within a 40-meter radius every 30 seconds.Four pieces equipped – 25 percent buff to all bleeding damage you inflict.Three pieces equipped – 25 percent buff to all burn damage you inflict. Two pieces equipped – 20 percent buff to weapon handling.Again, as with the True Patriot set, there are six Ongoing Directive gear pieces in total, with perks activating at two, three, four, five, and six pieces equipped: Unlike the True Patriot set which focuses on direct engagement, the Ongoing Directive set is more about utility and enhancing your ability to afflict enemies with negative status effects. Getting a full True Patriot set does require a bit of luck since you have no control over which gear pieces can drop, but if you work through enough World Tier 5 Black Tusk activities you should eventually have a full set ready to go. Completing World Tier 5 Invaded Missions and Strongholds guarantees at least one gear set drop per mission, and World Tier 5 Black Tusk activities like open-world bounties and Occupied Dark Zones can drop True Patriot gear as well. True Patriot is one of two gear sets that has a chance of dropping from any Elite Black Tusk enemy once a player reaches World Tier 5. The Red debuff lowers the amount of damage the enemy deals, the White debuff restores armor for any player who shoots the afflicted enemy, and the Blue debuff lowers players’ skill cooldowns when shooting that enemy.

The three debuffs that trigger with the five piece talent are aptly labeled as Red, White, and Blue. Six pieces equipped – Any debuffed enemies who are close to an enemy with all three debuffs applied receive 25 percent of all damage dealt to the three-debuff enemy.Five pieces equipped – Apply one of three random debuffs on any enemy you shoot (subsequent shots can apply additional debuffs until all three are applied).Four pieces equipped – 10 percent buff to your total armor rating.Three pieces equipped – 10 percent damage resistance from Elite (yellow health bar) enemies. Two pieces equipped – 10 percent damage buff to enemy armor. Here are the True Patriot set’s stacking perks:

The set is made up of six gear pieces in total (a mask, backpack, holster, vest, gloves, and kneepads) with specific perks triggering when you equip two, three, four, five, and six pieces total. If you’re more of an aggressive Division 2 player who sticks mainly to PvE activities, the True Patriot set was made for you. Much like The Division 2’s Exotic weapons, you’ll see that different gear sets are tailored for specific activities, though they each have some inherent universal viability as well (especially if you can complete the full set). In this guide we’ll explain how to obtain all three gear sets as well as the unique perks they convey. Title Update 2 added in three specific gear sets for players to find: True Patriot, Hard Wired, and Ongoing Directive. These gear sets (which are identified by their distinct green loot rarity color) convey unique perks which sequentially unlock as more gear pieces from a specific set are equipped. Along with a sizeable expansion to the sequel’s endgame, Title Update 2 also re-introduced a popular feature from The Division: named gear sets. Earlier this month, Ubisoft Massive launched Title Update 2 for The Division 2.
